Lean Six Sigma Belt Competencies and Skill Sets
Within the field of continuous improvement, different roles and responsibilities have been defined, visualized by the so-called ‘Belt-structure’. The structure was originally defined by Motorola for those applying Six Sigma projects. In 2009 the LSSA added the Lean principles and techniques to the Six Sigma bodies of knowledge, introducing a combined body of knowledge for both Lean and Six Sigma.
